Chasni is a well established authentic-Indian restaurant. Whilst very successful as a traditional business, they required a modernisation of their website and logo to break into the online market.

Our task was to seamlessly blend tradition with modernity, ensuring that Chasni’s online presence resonated with its heritage while appealing to the contemporary consumer. The client’s vision included a fresh take on their existing website and logo, designed to captivate a diverse audience.

The client required a modern and unique take on their pre-existing website and logo. They also required full responsiveness as it is theorized that most customers who are making online orders are doing so via a mobile device as opposed to desktops. The website was also to include a shop feature which integrated their existing menu and allowed customers to order food online.

The client also requested a logo which was easy on the eyes and including the name of the business.

Design

We approached the challenge by giving Chasni’s website a modern and unique facelift. Our design focused on enhancing the user experience, with full responsiveness at the forefront. Recognising the shift in consumer behaviour towards mobile platforms, we optimised the website to ensure a seamless browsing and ordering experience for customers on the go.

Functionality

The website serves as an online portal to the restaurants menu where customers may view and order online. This involved the implementation of an online payment system and shopping basket features.

Logo Redesign

In response to the client’s request for a logo that is easy on the eyes, we crafted a design that harmonizes simplicity with sophistication. The new logo prominently features the name of the business, capturing the essence of Chasni’s identity. It’s a visual representation that resonates with both loyal patrons and those discovering Chasni for the first time.
